Lip Balms

Living and working in the Arctic means you pretty much carry a couple lip balm tubes with you 24/7. I have never found one that I felt fit my lifestyle perfectly, so I researched and experimented till I created these lip balms!

THE Balm  - Alder and Willow - sore, swollen, dry, chapped or bleeding

...a balm I use when my lips needed HEALING from being chapped and cracked....

This lip balm contains ingredients that create a shield against the elements while healing them and reducing pain and inflammation. It also does it without feeling heavy, waxy and oily. The flavor is a very faint honey....too much flavor and sweetness makes you lick you lips and negates the purpose of the lip balm.

DO NOT USE IF YOU ARE ALLERGIC TO ASPIRIN, as Willow contains natural salicylic acid, which is also found in OTC aspirin products.

Ingredients: Alder Leaf/bark/seed, willow bark, jojoba oil, olive oil, shea butter, cocoa butter, Vitamin E, Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Cetyl Stearyl Alcohol (not an "alcohol" such as rubbing alcohol, which would dry the skin, but a vegetable source emulsifying wax or thickener), Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Beeswax, Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Lipids, Lauryl Laurate (a vegetable derived palm), Copernicia Cerifera (Carnauba) Wax, Euphorbia Cerifera (Candelilla) Wax, flavor oil, sweetner oil.

THE Balm - Protection - Cloudberries - moisturizing, protecting, serious everyday balm

This one is a balm I could use as my everyday balm, something that was created to moisturize and PROTECT my lips from the elements.

This lip balm contains ingredients that create a shield against the elements while keeping them healthy.  It also does it without feeling heavy, waxy and oily.  The flavor is a very faint honeyed citrus....too much flavor and sweetness makes you lick you lips and negates the purpose of the lip balm.

Ingredients: Cloudberry nectar/seed oil, olive oil, shea butter, cocoa butter, Vitamin E, jojoba oil, Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Cetyl Stearyl Alcohol (not an "alcohol" such as rubbing alcohol, which would dry the skin, but a vegetable source emulsifying wax or thickener), Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Beeswax, Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Lipids, Lauryl Laurate (a vegetable derived palm), Copernicia Cerifera (Carnauba) Wax, Euphorbia Cerifera (Candelilla) Wax, flavor oil, sweetner oil.

THE Balm - Winter Relief - Ultra moisturizing and protection for severe weather and conditions

This lip balm contains the ultimate dream team of ingredients that keep your lips moisturized, healthy, and protected from the elements: Cocoa butter, Shea butter, cloudberry oil, alder and willow oil, and Lanolin. It also does it without feeling heavy, waxy and oily. The flavor is a very faint honeyed wintergreen....too much flavor and sweetness makes you lick you lips and negates the purpose of the lip balm.

Do not use if you are Allergic to aspirin, as Willow contains natural salicylic acid, which is also found in OTC aspirin products.

Ingredients: Cloudberry nectar/seed oil, Alder bark/seed/leaf, Willow bark, Lanolin, olive oil, shea butter, cocoa butter, Vitamin E, Jojoba oil, Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Cetyl Stearyl Alcohol (not an "alcohol" such as rubbing alcohol, which would dry the skin, but a vegetable source emulsifying wax or thickener), Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Beeswax, Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Lipids, Lauryl Laurate (a vegetable derived palm), Copernicia Cerifera (Carnauba) Wax, Euphorbia Cerifera (Candelilla) Wax, flavor oil, sweetner oil.

*These lip balms are designed to melt with your body temperature, so be aware that if you leave them in your pocket they will melt!  To restore their awesomeness to solidness just place in a cool fridge, upright, for about 5 minutes. Melting will not harm the amazing ingredients.*
